News & Updates
Home

The news and updates page will keep you all informed about recent additions to the players list, up and coming special offers and any customer related information (its easier to post it here than reply to individual email)

Over the next few days we hope to start our own forum, where you can ask Quest DVD or Stone Design, specific questions, list any concerns that you may have or maybe inform other customers just how great you think the product is. A great number of you have asked specific questions relating to KeyMaster and KeyLoader and I am sure that if we posted the answers here it would certainly benefit everyone.

KeyMaster is now an international product so hopefully we can expect input from our friends across the water, be it in Europe, USA, Australasia, or the Far East, it should be interesting.

OK so lets get down to Business

09/04/01 - Our workshop is currently working to capacity to clear the backlog of fitted player upgrades and ship prior to the Easter Break. At present our DIY Kits are produced to order as it is increasingly difficult to stock all kits so we anticipate a short delay on shipping our local and  international orders ( anticipated turn around - 7 days) This should sort itself out after Easter.

12/04/01 - KeyMaster/keyloader currently supports over 180 different players and the list is rapidly growing, each time a new player comes onto the international  market  we have to try and obtain one and check the firmware version number etc  and then Stone Design in Denmark produce a multi region upgrade - this takes time. A lot of you are asking for upgrades to players that have just been released and for some reason we cannot get hold of one.  So if you are a supplier of DVD players and can offer Quest favourable pricing then get in touch.

We are also looking into the possibility of supplying  DVD movies and are currently negotiating with US and Hong Kong based wholesalers. We will keep you informed.

23/04/01 - We have introduced two additional methods of payment:

A system called NOCHEX  a great new way to purchase KeyMaster using a UK bank debit card click the NOCHEX link for more info.

and Western Union - allows you to purchase in your own currency.

25/06/01 - KeyMaster Uploader Trade orders are now supplied with a minimum of 5 uploads per uploader ** details on trade only page.

01/07/01 - due to the tremendous response to the Pioneer KeyMaster uploader, Quest DVD can now offer free installation on all Pioneer  DVD Players - ( you only pay for the new firmware upload ) ***this offer is limited for the month of July only.

06/09/01 - Our CCnow link will be deleted as of the 16/09/01. We feel that the additional 10% imposed on us by CCNOW is unreasonable. Overseas customers will now have to process payments through direct bank transfer in UKŁ Sterling

Also - We have been advised that the DIY KeyMaster uploader will be withdrawn as a retail  kit from the end of September 01. Trade customers can still order the Uploader with a minimum of 10 credits

That's all for now - nothing else to report.

One shop for all consoles - we ship fast!
